Quick troubleshooting

1. Close and reopen PaintValues, then retry the same image.
2. Check camera access in system Settings if “Take a photo” is not available. Choosing an existing image remains available.
3. For a very large image, try a smaller copy if the device runs out of memory during analysis or export.
4. If sharing is unavailable, confirm at least one compatible sharing destination is installed and enabled.
5. Install the latest store version before reporting a reproducible crash or export problem.

Local data controls

• Open Your Works to reopen, rename, or permanently delete a Work and its local source image, editor state, guides, and drawing layers.
• Open Settings to turn unfinished-work recovery on or off, delete its separate recovery draft, and open the privacy policy. Turning recovery off does not delete intentionally saved Works.
• PaintValues does not have an online account or developer-held user profile to delete.

What to include in a support request

Describe what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened. Add the device model, iOS or Android version, PaintValues version, image format and approximate dimensions, and whether the issue repeats offline. Avoid sending private source images unless necessary.

Third-party materials and notices

PaintValues uses open-source components including Expo, React Native, React Navigation, React Native Skia, Lucide, Zustand, Fraunces, and Nunito Sans under their respective licenses. Copyright and license notices are retained with the source distribution and release records.

Foundation Mixing Palette and Studio Spectrum Palette are original, generic PaintValues project content rather than manufacturer product catalogs. Their retained creation and checksum record is validated before store distribution.

The full policy explains camera and photo access, private local Works, optional unfinished-work recovery, temporary exports, sharing, retention, deletion, and support messages.
